The Year 2021 has started on a quiet note because of the pandemic and all the chaos. However, quite a few great hip hop singles are dropped by well-known artists.

Last year seemed like a decade because of a lot of hues and cry all over the globe. But to everyone’s surprise, this year has seen the release of some great tracks. The year began steadily and some of the best hip hop tracks got released.

3. Murda Beatz and Shordie Shordie featuring Trippie Redd- ‘LOVE’

Shordie Shordie has proved his mettle as one of the best rappers of modern times. He has been releasing music for the last couple of years. But his latest track ‘LOVE’ has received rave reviews from the critics. The artist teamed up with the well-known producer Murda Beatz for the latest track. This song is a major chapter in the career of the rapper based out of Baltimore. The track ‘LOVE’ also features Trippie Redd. Shordie has raised the bar with this brilliant track. 

4. Wiz Khalifa and 03 Greedo – ‘Substance (We Woke Up)’

Wiz Khalifa and 03 Greedo have dished out the most brilliant hip hop number ‘Substance (We Woke Up)’. Greedo is one of the best singers in modern times. Greedo is based out of Los Angeles. The rapper is very famous for the track ‘The Wolf Of Grape Street’ that was released in 2018. The singer went on to recruit the very famous Wiz Khalifa to revive one of his finest tracks. Wiz has amazed the listeners with the unique rap verse. There are fresh vibes in the track despite the original song being two years old. 

5. Slowthai – ’45 SMOKE’

Slowthai has dished out plenty of energy with his new track. The latest album by the Northampton artist is titled ‘Tyron’. But the best track on the album is ’45 SMOKE’. The track is full of energy and youthful exuberance. The song has captivated millions of fans with an engaging rhythm. The track has been produced by Kwes Darko. Both of them have put in the best effort to dish out the amazing track. 

6. Smokepurpp – ‘Prom Queen’

Smokepurpp is peppered with a lot of negative reviews for his track ‘Florida Jit’. The album underperformed after its release in 2020. His latest track ‘Prom Queen’ is part of his latest EP ‘PSYCHO (Legally Insane)’. Purpp has bounced back with his brilliant rapping style.

8. Freddie Gibbs- ‘Winter In America’

Freddie Gibbs has recreated the magic with the track ‘Winter In America’. The track is created for the EP ‘The Undefeated Black History Always/ Music For the Movement Vol.2’ of ESPN. Leon Michaels, the jazz artist based out of Brooklyn has produced the track. The track is updated and has up-tempo beats of hip hop. 

9. Babyface Ray- ‘Real Niggas Don’t Rap’

Babyface Ray never looks for any recognition and awards. The track ‘Real Niggas Don’t Rap’ is part of the EP ‘Unfuckwitable’. The track is released by a major label and has created uncharted levels of ecstasy. The Detroit rapper has provided details about his rise as a rapping sensation. The singer has laid out his brilliant journey in the track. Being famous is not his cup of tea as he has shrugged off all the perks. 

10. Cardi B -‘Up’

Cardi B has kept things interesting with her new track ‘Up’. This is the latest chartbuster by the gifted Bronx rapper. The track has packed in a lot of spice and energy. The track received a huge response on major social media platforms. The track also featured for the first time in the Hot 100 List of Billboard. The critics have written down Cardi B right from the beginning of her career. But she has proved them wrong once again.
